Microsoft to use pop-up on window xp

11:46

Microsoft finally to launch a warning popup for their Windows XP operating system on the 8th of March; which is supposed to look like the screenshot given below.

By now, everyone knows Windows XP End of Support is on 8th April 2014. Microsoft is doing a lot of things to spread its Windows 8.1 all across the world. Even there is a word about Microsoft working on a free version of Windows 8.1!

A lot of Windows XP users will start seeing that warning popup by this week. If you look at the chart below, you will see how much users still uses Windows XP.

Now back to the warning popup…

The warning popup will show up on every Windows XP systems unless they tick the option "Don't show this message again". Well you are supposed not to upgrade, right ?

If, however, you are starting to know how serious is Microsoft now in ending the support for Windows XP, and you want to make sure your migration is problem-free (you’re using Windows, can you really expect that?), Microsoft will provide you a migration tool called PCmover Express for Windows XP. In a blog post, Microsoft says:
We have partnered with Laplink to provide Windows XP users with a free data migration tool called PCmover Expressfor Windows XP which copies your files and settings from your Windows XP PC to a new device running Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. This tool will copy your files, music, videos, email and user profiles and settings from your old PC to your new device, transferring across your home or work network, and even enables Windows XP users to customize exactly what they want to bring over to their new device.

Microsoft XP users, what's your plan now ?
